• Logger currently supports most Boeing 737, Airbus A320 and Airbus A220 ACARS formats, with more being added with new updates

Import

• To import flight from ACARS, go to flight detail menu and tap on ACARS button

• You can take a photo of the ACARS screen directly or choose one from the library. We will choose one from the library.

• When importing ACARS photos, there are couple of important rules you need to follow in order for the scan to be successful.

  • The screen needs to be clean and clear of any glare.

  • The photo needs to be taken directly over the top of the screen, with the full ACARS screen in view.

  • The photo also needs to be aligned horizontally.

• You can make minor adjustments to the photo during the import. Once the adjustments are complete, tap on done to begin the import.

• Once complete, Logger will show you the result and highlight any missing fields. You can enter the missing fields or change the imported data.

• Once you are happy with the result, you can tap on apply and Logger will import the flight fields to the new flight. You can also reset the fields take another scan.
