Your data is synchronised and kept safe in iCloud. Even after deleting Logger, your data stays in iCloud under your Apple ID, provided that you don't specifically delete it. iCloud synchronises any changes between devices in real time. We have created additional backup / restore function as an extra layer of safety and to give you additional control over your data. We recommend creating regular database backups.

1. Backup

• To create backup, go to settings - Backup and Restore

• Choose CSV backup and tap on "Backup CSV"

• Save CSV anywhere you like

• Flights, Aircraft, Pilots, Types, Notes, Custom Statistics and Limitations will be backed up

• Note: signatures, tags and user settings are not backed up using CSV backup.

2. Restore

• You can restore your previous backups from the same place. CSV restore will load backed up entries into the database

• Note: Logger will only restore missing data. If the backup contains entry which already is in database on device, Logger will keep the one on device.
